Get strutting men of Perth:
with a host of new shops and
collections about, our city has
never looked trendier.
This just in: Lloyd Slides
If you're keen to direct the beachgoers' stares
away from your six-pack padding this summer,
then slip on a pair of these new slides from
Lloyd. The bold colours and flashy patterns are bound to
keep eyes below the bathers. They're comfy to trot too,
combining a full rubber sole with ergonomic design so you're
feet literally mould into the casing -- bliss. Available at Tread
Shoes, 83 Rokeby Road, Subiaco, (08) 9388 7088, treadshoes.com.au.
Harry Kewell comes
through with the goods
again, this time in the
form of snappy summer
threads. The latest col-
lection from Politix pulls together the gritty edge
of urban attire and the male-o-chicness of modern
formwear. Check it out at Politix, 200 Murray
Street, (08) 9221 4568, politix.com.au.
King of cool
SUITABLY IMPRESSED We have a slight obsession with Paul Smith here at Scoop.
He just has this awesome knack for designing pieces that are left of centre, but always on the
mark. The Spring/Summer 09 London line is true to form, bringing his penchant for contemporary
patterns and styles to the traditional two and three-button suits. He also introduces a new slim
range of single-button, three-piece suits that are sophisticated and playful in equal measure.
The collection is in store now at Parker & Co., (08) 9321 8621, parkerco.com.au.
Tapered jackets, drainpipe jeans and
winklepicker boots are the sartorial bread
and butter of any self-respecting indie lad.
And with the arrival of Jack London in the
recently unveiled Enex 100, all are in full
supply. The Melbourne label takes its cues
from the punk-rock fashions of the 60s (think early Beatles or
Rolling Stones), blending that too-cool-for-school attitude with
classic tailoring. Jack London's a winner for you guys who are in
constant pursuit of a slimmer fit. The designs are subtle but the
finishing touches are sharp. Enex 100 arcade, Hay Street Mall,
