WRAP IT UP « With autumn upon us,
the trans-seasonal climate and continuing conun-
drum of "what to wear?" can make getting dressed
easier said than done, or let s face it; fashion hell.
Wardrobe staples that are versatile, and perform
in both warm and cool temperatures (while
looking fantastic, naturally) become not only
desirable, but also essential for peace of mind.
Rockpool Kikoys, or "sarongs with soul"
make the transition easy. They are traditional
summer pashminas made from vibrantly col-
oured 100 percent cotton, with an exquisite
hand-knotted fringe. During the day, wear them
to the beach, use as a towel, or wrap around the
body to create a stunning dress. The Kikoy is
particularly enviable for its gripping ability, so it
does not slip off when wrapped and tied leaving
you standing mortified in your bathers or other-
wise, somewhat unprepared for the exposure!
In the evenings, add interest to outfits by
wearing as a light pashmina, wrapping around
the shoulders when the sea breeze rolls in; or wear
as a winter scarf as the temperature drops further.
At just $45, the Kikoy may just be the new
quintessential fashion item.
Rockpool Kikoys are available at rockpoolkikoy.

Something from Kate
After eight seasons as the face of French leather
luxury brand Longchamp, it seems little Kate Moss
(you may have heard of her before, apparently she's
some kind of model or something) decided life
behind the lens wasn't quite enough -- and has
turned her hand to handbags.
Now, after 20-odd years as the darling of the
fashion industry, and having designed several of
her own incredibly successful lines for retail giant
Topshop, Miss Moss has a true understanding of the
inner workings of designers and the industry -- as
well as a very revered sense of style.
Her collection with Longchamp doesn't
disappoint -- little rock and roll touches
like zebra styled calfskin teamed with
casual chic shapes like The Glaston-
