Art In Bloom 2010
Some 120 West Australian artists (us included) will participate in this exhibition, using
thousands of plants and flowers to create unique floral artworks. Each piece relates to an
allocated work from the State Art Collection and will be shown alongside it. Don’t forget
to check out City In Bloom as well, which will see floral masterpieces decorate public
artworks and iconic locations throughout the city centre. The Art Gallery Of Wester n

In a crowded cohort, to earn the title of the world’s greatest orchestra is
no easy task, but that is the label commonly bestowed by the press on the
Berliner Philharmoniker. They are in Perth for the first time, with two different
performances featuring some of history’s best compositions. Perth Concert

West Side Story | Shakespeare gets the New York treatment in this
1950s reboot of Romeo and Juliet. It tells the tale of star-crossed lovers Tony and
Maria, who come from rival gangs of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
Broadway stalwart Joey McKneely directs the production, coming to Australia after
sell-out seasons in London, Paris, Tokyo and Beijing. Burswood Theatre, October 7-23

The folk-rock troubadour returns to Perth as part of his latest

“Do you want me to seduce you?” The answer
will be a resounding yes when Jerry Hall delivers
this famous line. The leggy supermodel revives
her role as Mrs Robinson in this production, which
has played to rave reviews in London, Toronto and
on Broadway. It comes to Perth for an exclusive
