JOHN GERRARD There’s something quietly beautiful,
if a little unnerving, about the digital landscapes created by this
renowned Irish artist. Stark and eerily familiar, his ‘virtual sculptures’
might be of anything from a pig farm to a dust storm or an oil derrick.
This exhibition is the artist’s first major show in Australia. Perth
Institute of Contemporary Arts, February 17-April 3, pica.org.au.
